In the spring of 2009, the South Fayette Township Department of Parks and Recreation approved a request from the South Fayette Conservation Group for the group to install nest boxes for cavity nesting birds in Fairview Park.

We are happy to report that the boxes have recently hosted Tree Swallows, Eastern Bluebirds and House Wrens.

Look for the nest boxes with the SFCG logo when you visit the park.
